Job Description

Business Analyst Position Overview

The Aitek Group is seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in facilitating requirements elicitation meetings, analyzing business systems, and evaluating user needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate requirements elicitation meetings and conduct gap fit analysis to refine requirements.
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs to formulate systems that parallel overall business strategies.
  • Develop and document functional and technical specifications for reporting and data warehouse work.
  • Assist with business warehouse/intelligence support and enhancements, and develop RFPs.
  • Work with IT and business project teams to understand reporting and data warehousing requirements and propose solutions.
  • Document and provide knowledge transfer to the Enterprise Reporting Team for all solutions.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 years conducting business process review and requirements elicitation and documentation.
  • Minimum of 5 years facilitating executive and diverse groups to topic consensus on complex and competing perspectives.
  • Minimum of 5 years providing strategic analysis and support to program, division, and agency equivalent initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with industry standards, business process mapping, and reengineering.
  • Knowledge of relational database concepts and client-server concepts.
