Job Summary

As a key member of the Metropolitan Transportation Authority's (MTA) team, the Transportation Operations Analyst will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our paratransit services. This position will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Vice President of Paratransit, including attending meetings, taking notes, and ensuring timely follow-up on key next steps. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Paratransit, including attending meetings, taking notes, and ensuring timely follow-up on key next steps
* Assist in managing the Vice President's schedule to ensure alignment with MTA goals and priorities
* Ensure timely review and processing of documents requiring the Vice President's signature, including HR actions, customer correspondence, and invoices
* Coordinate with divisions to prepare background materials for Vice President meetings with other departments, the MTA Board, and community members
* Conduct research and analysis for ad-hoc projects requiring input from multiple Paratransit departments

Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as business administration, public administration, or a related field
* 2+ years of experience in a related field, with a focus on administrative support, project management, and communication
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
