Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, enhance, and troubleshoot automated control systems for industrial machinery.
  • Choose appropriate components and design circuit layouts and enclosures.
  • Create comprehensive bills of materials.
  • Program PLCs and set up servo control systems.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues in final systems, whether for new projects or updates to existing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical standards, particularly NFPA 70 and NFPA 79.
Qualifications:
  • Expertise in programming with Allen Bradley Control Logix, Mitsubishi Q, and Siemens S7.
  • Experience in panel design utilizing AutoCAD.
  • Capability to design circuit and enclosure layouts.
  • Knowledge of electrical standards, specifically NFPA 70 and NFPA 79.
  • Experience in configuring servo systems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years in the design of automated systems or tooling design is preferred, though recent graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5 years of experience in the design of automated systems or tooling.
  • Recent graduates with relevant coursework and internship experience are encouraged to consider this opportunity.
Work Schedule:
  • Monday to Friday
  • 8 AM to 5 PM
Compensation:
  • Hourly Rate: $31.25 to $43.86
