Job Title: Field Service Controls Engineer

ATS Automation is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing technical support for Comecer equipment to our North American customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial equipment manufactured by the Comecer Group at customer sites in the United States and Canada.
  • Provide remote technical support by telephone and online for customers.
  • Utilize internal FUSION software to create and track machine issues using service tickets.
  • Execute service at customer sites based on instructions received by the Service Planner.
  • Diagnose and address equipment problems in a timely manner.
Commercial Responsibilities:
  • Ship and receive customer orders, stock shipments, and installation equipment.
  • Order and track spare parts and consumables inventory.
  • Organize the archive of user manuals, recommended spare parts lists, and technical documentation related to the equipment installed in the United States and Canada.
  • Seek out and negotiate maintenance packages including service contracts and spare parts sets.
Requirements:
  • At least a five-year Industrial Technical diploma with Mechanical / Electrical emphasis or equivalent work experience.
  • Ability to debug and perform programming adjustments to Comecer equipment including Siemens and Rockwell PLCs/HMIs, PCs, and other controls software utilized in Comecer solutions.
  • Experience troubleshooting electrical and mechanical faults on industrial equipment using appropriate instrumentation and controls interfaces.
