Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist III to join our Ophthalmology Department. As a key member of our team, you will provide technical assistance to faculty and staff with respect to personal computing hardware and software, computer networking, and telecommunications.

Responsibilities
  • Provide routine technical assistance to faculty and staff
  • Diagnose and repair complex end-user problems
  • Perform preventative maintenance of end-user devices
  • Lifecycle management of end-user devices
  • Advise customers on technology needs and provide quotes
  • Liaise between customers and Information Resources
  • Provide working supervision to other Technical Support Specialists
Requirements
  • 6 years of related experience
  • High school education
  • Valid Texas driver's license (if required)
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field
