Ophthalmology Specialist in Neuro-Ophthalmology

The American Academy of Ophthalmology is seeking a distinguished Neuro-Ophthalmologist to enhance our department. The appointment level will be aligned with the candidate's academic achievements and professional experience.
Essential Qualifications:
- Possession of an M.D. degree or its equivalent
- Completion of an accredited residency in either ophthalmology or neurology
- Fellowship training specifically in neuro-ophthalmology
- Eligibility for licensure in Texas
- Board certification or eligibility through the American Board of Ophthalmology or the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
We are open to considering candidates interested in part-time positions. The selected individual will be involved in the clinical management of patients within our neuro-ophthalmology practice, as well as in the educational training of residents and fellows. A passion for clinical or translational research, along with an interest in comprehensive or specialized surgical ophthalmology, is appreciated but not mandatory.
This position is security-sensitive and subject to relevant educational codes, which permit the Academy to conduct background checks.
