Support Services Manager

**About the Opportunity**
We are seeking a highly skilled Support Services Manager to join our team at the Housing Authority of the Birmingham District.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of professional experience in an administrative or office management role, with a strong background in providing diverse, complex, and comprehensive support to executive-level personnel.
The primary purpose of this position is to provide day-to-day functions that align with the Chief Executive Officer's vision and initiatives, managing calendars, drafting correspondence, performing organizational tasks, and serving as the primary point of contact for staff and external entities.
This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the affordable housing and real estate development industry while working in a fast-paced environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage calendars and schedules for senior executives
- Draft letters, memos, meeting minutes, and other written communications
- Coordinate meetings and events, including travel arrangements and expense reporting
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
**Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of professional experience
- Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to learn new software programs as required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
**Salary:** $55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience
