Job Summary

The Master Electrician is a key member of the Facilities Management team at Northern Light Health, responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems throughout our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and installations of electrical equipment and distribution systems in compliance with national and local codes.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on electrical systems to ensure they meet regulatory requirements.
  • Direct and approve minor wiring performed by staff or outside vendors.
  • Monitor staff performance and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Participate in and complete patient safety initiatives as required.
Requirements
  • Licensed Master Electrician
  • No minimum education requirement
Working Conditions
  • Potential exposure to abusive and/or aggressive individuals
  • Potential exposure to diseases or infections
  • Potential exposure to hazardous materials
  • Prolonged periods of sitting
  • Lifting, moving, and loading 30 to 50 pounds
