Claims Representative Opportunity

Cincinnati Insurance Company, Inc. is seeking a skilled Claims Representative to join our team. As a Claims Representative, you will be responsible for investigating and evaluating insurance claims, providing excellent customer service, and working collaboratively with our independent agents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough claim investigations and gather necessary information
  • Interview insureds, claimants, and witnesses to gather facts and evidence
  • Evaluate claim facts and policy coverage to determine settlement amounts
  • Prepare reports of findings and secure settlements with insureds and claimants
  • Use claims-handling software and company resources to adjust losses in a paperless environment
  • Provide superior and professional customer service to our policyholders
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
  • One or more years of claims handling experience preferred
  • AINS, AIC, or CPCU designations preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work unsupervised
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
