Job OpportunitySenior Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Lead Software Engineer to join our Corporate Technology team at JPMorgan Chase. As a key member of our agile team, you will play a critical role in enhancing, building, and delivering top-notch technology products that meet the evolving needs of our business.

As a Senior Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical guidance and direction to support the business and its technical teams, contractors, and vendors. You will develop secure and high-quality production code, review and debug code written by others, and drive decisions that influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations and processes.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to support business and technical teams
  • Developing and reviewing high-quality production code
  • Driving decisions that influence product design and technical operations
  • Serving as a subject matter expert in software engineering concepts
  • Contributing to the engineering community as an advocate of firmwide frameworks and practices

Required qualifications and skills include:

  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts and 5+ years of applied experience
  • Hands-on experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Advanced knowledge of software applications and technical processes
  • Ability to tackle design and functionality problems independently
  • Experience in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, or a related technical field

Preferred qualifications and skills include:

  • AWS certification
  • Experience in a large banking or financial services technology environment
