Job Title: Production Soil Sorter

Mission Linen Supply is seeking a Production Soil Sorter to join our team. As a Production Soil Sorter, you will be responsible for sorting and processing soil in our industrial laundry production facility.

Responsibilities:
  • Sort and process soil in a fast-paced environment
  • Operate press equipment to ensure efficient production
  • Maintain production floor distribution to meet customer needs
  • Classify and lay out items for pressing, including industrial shirts and executive dress shirts
  • Separate soil pick-up tickets and check for needed repairs on items
  • Lift garments and/or linen onto line storage system and trolley garments and/or linen for truck pick-up
  • Load trollies into trailers and ensure colleagues practice safety procedures at all times
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Experience working with plant equipment/machinery highly desired
Physical Demands:

The physical demands of this job include standing for long periods, using hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls, and regularly lifting and/or moving up to 100 pounds.

Work Environment:

The work environment is fast-paced and may be loud. The employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions.
