Your Opportunity: Taylor Corporation is in search of a Print Operations Technician to become part of our dynamic team.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Execute detailed instructions from job orders with precision. Identify potential errors or issues and take immediate corrective action.
  • Configure and adjust printing presses for job runs to meet specified requirements.
  • Oversee product quality throughout job runs. Verify accuracy against specifications and address any discrepancies.
  • Monitor machinery during operations. Stay vigilant for mechanical issues and escalate as needed to maintenance.
  • Initiate and manage job start-ups in alignment with the production schedule.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and upkeep of equipment.
  • Achieve output, waste, and spoilage standards.
  • Follow all safety protocols. Maintain a clean and organized workspace for efficient shift transitions.
  • Accurately complete logs and related documentation.
  • General Examples: Operate complex multi-color and multi-process inline equipment, including high-speed digital multi-color web presses with finishing capabilities.

Your Shift:

  • 5:00am - 5:00pm, Friday - Sunday
  • Work 36 hours, but receive compensation for 40 hours.

You Must Have:

  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude.
  • Basic mathematical skills for reading rulers and calculating label dimensions for optimal stock usage.
  • Ability to operate equipment proficiently, measured through production and quality metrics.
  • Capability to comprehend verbal and written instructions for work orders.
  • Professional communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

Requirements Within This Position:

  • Ability to communicate and share accurate information and ideas effectively.
  • Regularly required to remain stationary.
  • Consistently operates machinery and handles print materials.
  • Frequently required to navigate within the facility.
  • Regularly lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25+ pounds.

We Would Also Prefer:

  • Ability to distinguish colors.
  • Experience in a production environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
