Job Description

Fusion Medical Staffing-Radiology is seeking a skilled Radiation Technologist to join their team for a 13-week travel assignment in De Smet, South Dakota.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Radiation Technologist to work in our Computed Tomography department. As a Radiation Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate CT scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during exams
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses
  • Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements:

  • One to three years of experience as a Radiation Technologist
  • Current certification in Computed Tomography
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
