Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for residents to identify their nutritional needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Collaborate with our culinary team to design and implement nutrition care plans that promote healthy eating habits and support the health and vitality of our residents.
  • Monitor and evaluate residents' nutritional status, making adjustments to care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to residents, families, and staff on nutrition-related topics, including healthy eating habits and nutrition requirements.
  • Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless care coordination and communication.

Requirements:

  • Valid state license or license eligibility as a Registered Dietitian (RD) or Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN).
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field.
  • Member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
  • Previous experience in a long-term care setting, preferably in a clinical dietetics or nutrition role.
  • Strong clinical skills, critical thinking abilities, and a compassionate approach to patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
