Revenue Cycle Vice President

At Scottish Rite for Children, we are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients and their families. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced VP Revenue Cycle to join our team.
Job Summary:The VP Revenue Cycle will be responsible for leading our revenue cycle operations, ensuring efficient and compliant processes, and optimizing revenue capture. This role will require strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the revenue cycle team to achieve financial targets, budgets, and compliance goals.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve revenue cycle performance, including data analysis and process optimization.
- Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure seamless integration of revenue cycle processes.
- Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including actual vs. expected results for financial targets, budgets, compliance, quality, customer service, and productivity/efficiency.
- Chair monthly revenue cycle meetings to discuss actionable items for write-offs and denials.
- Work with revenue cycle and patient account leaders to implement best practices and improve revenue cycle performance.
- Evaluate current business offerings and identify improvements, enhancements, and new service line opportunities.
- Demonstrate knowledge of all client's departmental operations, including managed care contractual terms and requirements, business office operations, accounts receivable, and financial reporting technology.
- Bachelor's degree in Hospital or Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive senior leadership experience within the healthcare setting with responsibility for hospital and physician revenue cycle operations.
- In-depth knowledge of hospital operations.
- Knowledge and experience with industry charge methodology, billing, and collection regulations.
- Superior analytical skills, including data analysis and problem-solving.
- Self-motivated with a sense of autonomy, initiative, and responsibility.
- Ability to make quality, independent decisions as well as the ability to collaborate effectively to make decisions with other leaders.
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently under tight deadlines, high volumes, and multiple interruptions.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, & Excel). Epic experienced strongly preferred.
