Position Summary: We are seeking a qualified candidate to oversee the integration of IT programs and services, addressing interoperability challenges, and designing robust IT security systems that align with current and future business needs. The selected individual will enhance existing architectures, manage projects, and effectively communicate complex technical requirements to non-technical stakeholders. Additionally, the role involves preparing and delivering presentations to senior management on intricate issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive analyses across various data domains to formulate strategies that minimize data redundancy and enhance data accessibility, collaborating with technical teams to create a sustainable and reusable data architecture.
  • Evaluate data attributes from multiple systems to develop Common Information Models, governing data-related decisions regarding model design, access patterns, and services.
  • Design and implement Databases, Data Warehouses, and Multidimensional Data Stores, maintaining a holistic view of data flow and translating logical data models into physical structures.
  • Oversee data model maintenance and devise strategies for data acquisition, archival, recovery, and implementation of Data Stores, acting as a liaison between technical teams and data administrators.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Management Information Systems from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of seven (7) years of full-time experience in developing enterprise architectures and their components.
  • At least three (3) years of experience in Federal Government enterprise architecture development and maintenance.
  • Proven experience in formulating IT strategies, business architectures, and technology architectures, along with conducting portfolio rationalization analyses.
  • Deep expertise in cybersecurity, with the ability to engineer solutions that integrate with evolving Enterprise Architectures.
  • Experience in creating and maintaining a Technical Reference Model (TRM) to support architecture development and analysis.
  • Proficiency in solution architecture across various domains, including cloud application migration, cloud storage design, mobile application development, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Subject matter expertise in IT infrastructure, supported by relevant certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with the Department of Treasury or other Federal Agencies.
  • Familiarity with object-oriented programming and design methodologies.
  • Program Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Local candidates are preferred.

Special Skills/Certifications:

  • Enterprise Architecture certification, such as the Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF), is required.
  • CISSP certification, including ISSAP, ISSMP, or ISSEP, is preferred.
  • Expertise in IT infrastructure, supported by certifications like CCIE, CCNP, and CCSP.
