**Job Description:** Senior Mechanical Engineering Technician

**Estimated Salary:** $140,000 - $200,000 per year

We are a fast-growing company serving government and commercial clients with innovative Predictive Maintenance and Condition Monitoring solutions. Our team in Chesapeake, Virginia, is seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Engineering Technician to join our ranks.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to understand and implement maintenance policies and procedures. Responsibilities include:

  • Engine-line health monitoring for technical accuracy.
  • Technical interaction with the ship's maintenance team and regional maintenance centers.
  • Maintenance of machinery history reviews via the Diesel Readiness System (DRS) Program initiatives.
  • Review of Diesel Engine Inspection reports for accuracy.
  • Creation and review of time-directed maintenance actions.
  • Attendance at integrated project team development meetings, conferences, work package reviews, and industrial support visits.
  • Review of life cycle maintenance plans for assigned vessels.
  • Monitoring of vessels' life cycle maintenance, performance data, and reciprocating engine analysis testing for technical compliance.
  • Coordination of condition-based maintenance requirements for upcoming availabilities.
  • Submission of technical reports, work specifications, and maintenance procedures.

**Requirements:** Minimum 5 years of US Navy Engineman experience, minimum 3 years of experience with DMS and DRS programs, prior DEI certification, and experience with SAMM and DOCTOR DEPA.
