Job Description:As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the face of our hotel, responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our guests. Your primary role will be to greet, register, and service guests in a friendly and courteous manner, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
You will be the point of contact for all guest requests, responding promptly and professionally to resolve any issues that may arise. Your attention to detail and ability to multitask will be essential in maintaining a smooth operation of the front desk.
- Greet and register guests, assigning rooms and verifying credit information.
- Handle guest inquiries, resolving issues and escalating concerns to management as needed.
- Process payments, compute bills, and make change for guests.
- Transmit and receive messages, using telephones or our property management system.
- Assist with luggage and provide directions to guests.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous customer service experience or equivalent training.
- Knowledge of property management systems, preferably.
The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401(k) matching and paid time off.
Work Environment:This is a full-time position requiring standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending, and reaching. You will work varying schedules, including holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts.
