Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety Specialist to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to ensure a safe and healthy work environment for our employees.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in environmental health and safety, with experience in managing and implementing EHS programs, policies, and procedures. You will be responsible for staying up-to-date on regulatory changes and ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to ensure a safe and healthy work environment
  • Manage and implement EHS programs, policies, and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide technical guidance and support to employees on EHS-related matters
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS regulations
  • Develop and implement training programs to educate employees on EHS procedures and protocols
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and mitigate EHS risks
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience in EHS, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
  • Strong knowledge of EHS regulations and standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
