Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Repair Specialist to join our team at Gulph Creek Hotels. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining all hotel equipment to ensure efficient operation of our facilities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repair and maintenance, with the ability to troubleshoot complex problems and work independently. You will be expected to collaborate with our engineering team to develop and implement preventative maintenance programs, minimizing downtime and maintaining high levels of guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Repair and maintain all hotel equipment to ensure efficient operation
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to troubleshoot complex problems
  • Monitor and report on maintenance activities to management
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workshop area

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • At least 2 years of progressive experience in equipment repair and maintenance
  • Previous experience working in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
