Job Summary

Aleron is seeking an experienced Sr. System Software Engineer to join our team in Newton, MA.

The successful candidate will be responsible for system software integration, medical device and regulatory environment, and design transfer to manufacturing.

This is a temporary position lasting 12 months, working 40 hours per week (1st shift) at $68.89/hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure seamless integration of software with hardware and networking components.
  • Responsible for software installation, system integration, and system rework following software releases.
  • Manage network settings for software systems, including IP configuration, network security, and firewall rules.
  • Develop and maintain detailed records of installation procedures, configuration changes/configuration management, and troubleshooting steps.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in system software integration, medical device or regulatory environment, and design transfer to manufacturing.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in software installation, system integration, and system rework following software releases.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in networking protocols and network configuration.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell).
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in cloud environments (AWS, Azure) and virtualization technologies.
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in software version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
  • Minimum of 7 years experience in Fundamental engineering, systems analysis, and troubleshooting.
