About this Role

The Electrification Product Manager is a critical and high-visibility position to lead the growth of electrification and zero-emissions offerings within the Carrier organization. This role oversees various electrification products and projects, engaging with industry partners to best position Carrier.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement both short- and long-term electrification strategy initiatives, driving business growth and market expansion.
  • Collaborate with the program management team and marketing functions on new product introductions, ensuring timely and successful launches.
  • Interact with cross-functional groups (engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and sales) to ensure initiatives meet schedule, cost, and quality targets, fostering a culture of excellence and efficiency.
  • Engage with industry partners to ensure compatibility and provide necessary VOC to business unit leadership, building strong relationships and driving business outcomes.
  • Analyze and monitor the regulatory environment, ensuring product compliance and staying ahead of industry trends.
  • Benchmark competitive solutions and provide competitive comparisons, informing business decisions and driving market leadership.
  • Engage with marketing resources to develop effective sales and promotional materials, showcasing Carrier's expertise and thought leadership.
  • Develop and execute effective customer-focused messages and campaigns, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Travel to customer and dealer locations to assist the sales organization with high-level presentations or new product introductions, building strong relationships and driving business outcomes.
  • Develop and deliver presentation materials for large audiences, showcasing Carrier's expertise and thought leadership.
  • Provide interviews with trade media or represent the company on discussion panels at trade shows, positioning Carrier as a thought leader in the industry.
  • Interact closely with Carrier's sales force, field service engineers, and dealer network to assist with applications and sales efforts, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of technical experience in the area of electrification (batteries, power electronics)
  • 2+ years in a front-line business position (sales, marketing, service, applications, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidate must have a proven record of leadership, strategic thinking, and project management with a business mindset, including the ability to grasp complex situations and extract key points and motives and effectively communicate and quickly act on them.
  • Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills, and be able to professionally represent the company in both writing and in oral communications (media relations, presentations, sales training, management presentations, etc.)
