Position Available: Production Supervisor (2nd Shift)
Shift Timing: 4:00 pm - 12:30 am, Monday to Friday
The Production Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing production staff to enhance efficiency during assigned shifts. Responsibilities include planning, assigning, and directing work, coordinating weekly Continuous Improvement (CI) meetings, addressing product and employee concerns, and resolving issues. This role entails executing supervisory duties in alignment with company policies, OSHA regulations, and relevant laws while adhering to all CI processes and the Management Operating Structure (MOS).
- Collaborates with Plant Management and other supervisory personnel to assign, direct, and monitor the work of staff to optimize productivity.
- Ensures adherence to established procedures for production efficiency, product quality, employee safety, and compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Conducts inspections of products to confirm compliance with specifications and directs necessary adjustments to machinery.
- Coordinates production schedules and estimates labor hour requirements for task completion.
- Assesses production needs for daily task assignments and modifies work procedures to meet production goals.
- Suggests enhancements to production techniques, equipment functionality, and product quality.
- Analyzes and resolves work-related issues or assists employees in problem-solving.
- Maintains accurate records of time and production as required.
- Works with other supervisors to synchronize departmental activities.
- Supervises assigned employees in scheduling and daily operations, ensuring effective selection, retention, feedback, and performance management.
- Participates in grievance procedures or contract-related discussions if a collective bargaining agreement is in place.
- Trains and instructs employees on production standards and equipment processes, ensuring compliance with policies.
- Models the Company's Code of Ethics by adhering to company policies and standards.
- Engages in managerial responsibilities that involve planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating, and delegating tasks.
- Performs additional duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Undergraduate degree in a related field is preferred.
- 2 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, ideally in food and/or beverage production.
- Demonstrated leadership skills, team lead experience, or supervisory background.
- Certification and/or license may be required during employment.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Understanding of manufacturing process flow and its significance.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and company-specific computer systems.
- Knowledge of supervisory principles, training, and personnel management.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Able to collaborate effectively and promote teamwork.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with others.
- Capable of independent judgment in planning and organizing tasks.
- Demonstrates initiative and follows through on daily responsibilities.
- Must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
Travel Requirements:
