Job Title: Editorial Operations Associate

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and organized Editorial Operations Associate to join our team at NBCUniversal. As an Editorial Operations Associate, you will play a critical role in supporting the expansion and development of our commerce content and shopping recommendations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain shopping articles in our Content Management System (CMS)
  • Identify and update evergreen content on a timely basis to meet the demands of the news cycle
  • Participate in regular editorial, product, and operations meetings to ensure seamless collaboration and communication
  • Work closely with the social and engagement teams to create and promote shoppable content
  • Optimize new and existing posts based on affiliate partnerships and commerce opportunities
  • Communicate regularly with the product tech team to ensure smooth CMS developments
  • Organize the editorial calendar and participate in content lookahead planning meetings to ensure timely and effective content delivery
Requirements:
  • Understanding of CMS and editorial workflows is a plus
  • Some media or editorial experience is required
  • Commerce editorial experience is a big plus
  • Work experience for a news brand is a plus
