About the Role

CGS is seeking a highly skilled eDiscovery Litigation Technologist to support our fast-paced legal team. As an eDiscovery Litigation Technologist, you will play a key role in assisting with legal accounts and supporting various aspects of our portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor changes to laws impacting civil and criminal litigation to determine their impact on current FBI Discovery policies and procedures.
  • Monitor the commercial industry to identify new technology or best practices that can be applied to improve FBI Discovery.
  • Verify that proposed solutions meet underlying needs and conduct testing of system upgrades or patches prior to release.
  • Provide advice on identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI in support of civil litigation, selected criminal matters, and other external inquiries.
  • Monitor daily separation reports to identify departing legal hold custodians and ensure proper preservation of material subject to legal hold requirements.
  • Update and/or create standard operating procedures for the ETA role.
Requirements
  • 5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience with a focus on client solutions.
  • 3 years of progressive more responsible experience on major lit support projects.
  • 2 years in Relativity, beyond document review coding.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and agile work environment.
  • Experience and familiarity with eDiscovery Services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial).
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • The ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred).
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred).
