Position Profile

Client Relations Specialist Responsibilities:

Facilitates customer engagement by providing comprehensive product and service information, ensuring the success of customer projects through collaboration with Sales, Production, and Procurement teams.

Enhances customer retention by addressing inquiries about products and services, while suggesting alternatives that may better suit their needs.

Establishes customer accounts by accurately recording account details and processing client orders.

Maintains customer records by regularly updating account information.

Addresses product or service issues by clarifying customer requests and working with Sales, Production, and Procurement to identify the root cause, proposing effective solutions to ensure satisfaction, and following up to confirm resolution.

Manages financial accounts by processing customer payments and adjustments efficiently.

In collaboration with Sales, Procurement, and Production, recommends potential products or services to management by gathering customer insights and understanding their requirements.

Generates product or service reports by collecting and analyzing customer data.

Contributes to team objectives by achieving related results as necessary.

Work Hours

This role is hybrid, requiring a blend of remote work and in-office assignments within the Knoll Customer Service function. Flexibility for West Coast hours is expected.

Required Skills

Strong knowledge of leather is highly preferred.

Familiarity with the Architectural and Design industry.

Customer Service and Success Orientation.

Focus on quality and problem-solving abilities.

Proficient documentation and email communication skills.

Excellent phone etiquette and listening skills.

Ability to analyze information effectively.

Strong multi-tasking capabilities.

Required Experience

High School Diploma or College degree.

Working knowledge of MS Office and Oracle.

Previous experience in the leather industry is preferred.
