Job Summary

Loc Performance is seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our production departments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of high-quality products while maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and coordinate activities of production department(s) to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Develop and implement standard operational and working practices to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Resolve worker grievances and submit unsettled grievances to the Production Superintendent for action.
  • Compile, store, and retrieve production data to inform decision-making.
  • Oversee the daily operations of production departments, including machining, assembly, and welding.
  • Conduct employee training on equipment operations and work safety procedures.
  • Work with other departments to drive continuous improvement efforts and reduce costs.
  • Adjust production plans in response to changes in demand.
  • Maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of customer products.
  • Schedule personnel based on current workload and skill availability.
  • Coordinate activities between shifts.
  • Enforce company policies regarding safety, quality, productivity, and discipline.
  • Resolve personnel problems by investigating issues and recommending solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One to two years of related experience and/or training.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes and quality control procedures.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
