Job Title: Senior Real Estate Paralegal - Restaurant Development

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Real Estate Paralegal to join our Restaurant Development Legal Team at McDonald's Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our business clients in the development of new restaurants across the United States.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Independently support our business clients in complex due diligence and construction issues
  • Resolve title issues and collaborate with title companies to obtain adequate title insurance coverage
  • Analyze contracts, leases, easements, restrictive covenants, declarations, and other legal documents
  • Prepare and negotiate real estate documents, including declarations, easements, SNDAs, License Agreements, Closing Escrow Agreements, restrictive covenants, and non-disturbance agreements
  • Manage purchase and lease transactions by gathering transactional documents, coordinating closings, and overseeing recording of documents
  • Mentor and train Paralegals and other real estate legal professionals to support their growth and development
  • Think strategically to anticipate future business needs and identify existing opportunities, including by developing new practices, leading change efforts, and adopting new technologies to unlock efficiency
Requirements:
  • Paralegal certificate or equivalent education
  • 3+ years of experience as a commercial real estate paralegal, preferably in a law firm or in-house legal department setting
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills to handle multiple competing priorities and embody a collaborative team spirit, strong work ethic, and unwavering reliability
