Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our company's financial processes. This position is responsible for managing and processing invoices, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely payments to vendors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and verify invoices for accuracy and completeness
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of invoices, payments, and vendor information
  • Ensure timely payments to vendors and suppliers
  • Monitor and reconcile accounts payable transactions
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports and statements
  • Communicate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and accuracy in accounts payable
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of experience in accounts payable or a related field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
