Precision Machining Specialist

Position Overview:
We are in search of a talented Precision Machining Specialist to enhance our production team. The successful candidate will possess substantial experience in operating and maintaining lathes, particularly within a metalworking context.

The Precision Machining Specialist will be tasked with machining metal pipes to exact specifications, upholding the highest quality and efficiency standards.


Key Duties:
• Operate and maintain both manual and CNC lathes for machining metal pipes and components.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to ascertain dimensions and tolerances.
• Set up tooling, workpieces, and machine controls to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct regular inspections of parts to confirm they meet quality benchmarks.
• Oversee the machining process and implement adjustments as necessary.
• Maintain a tidy and organized workspace, adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance on lathes and associated equipment.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Precision Machining Specialist, ideally in a metal pipe manufacturing setting.
• Proficient in interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Strong grasp of machining principles, including cutting speeds, feeds, and tooling selection.
• Ability to utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and capacity to work independently or collaboratively.
• Good physical condition and capability to lift.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is advantageous.
