**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Nursing Unit Manager - RN to join our team at Uptown Rehabilitation Center in Albuquerque, NM. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.

**Key Responsibilities**

* Collaborate with the Director of Nursing to maintain adequate nursing coverage and ensure safe patient care
* Participate in the development, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans to minimize rehospitalizations
* Mentor and educate nurses, working with physicians and other medical professionals, to ensure high-quality patient care
* Oversee medication management to ensure adequate supplies and compliance with Genesis policy
* Provide direct patient care to maintain skills and stay current with industry developments

**Requirements**

* Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing
* Associate Degree in Nursing, three years of nursing experience, or Nursing Diploma, three years of nursing experience
* BSN, two years of nursing experience, and at least one year of nurse leadership experience
* Must possess current licensure by the State Board of Examiners of Nurses in the nursing center state and maintain current BLS/CPR certification
