Production Specialist

About the Role

This is a 2nd shift production role where you will be responsible for performing a variety of manufacturing tasks to produce high-quality diagnostic animal products while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Read, interpret, and apply manufacturing and quality control documents, technical procedures, and government regulations.
  • Operate a variety of machines on a rotating basis, including set-up, operation, clean-up, changeover, troubleshooting, and minor repair.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to achieve production goals.
  • Use basic math skills to perform calculations and measurements.
  • Provide production and process training to other employees.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • 1+ years of production and/or manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Ability to meet physical demands of the production floor, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasional climbing, kneeling, or bending.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
