JK Executive Strategies, LLC is seeking a skilled Mental Health Counselor to join our team. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will provide clinical assessments, individual and group counseling, and support services to a diverse range of clients.
Responsibilities:- Conduct ongoing clinical counseling sessions with children, adults, and/or families.
- Maintain accurate client records according to our center's policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with the Director to develop and facilitate support groups and psychoeducational offerings as needed.
- Assist in community outreach efforts and support the marketing of our counseling services.
- Attend supervision, team meetings, staff meetings, and staff development activities.
- Function as part of the team to meet the needs of clients and the agency, including facilitating referrals to programs.
- Be available to work some night/weekend hours per the needs of the caseload.
- Be willing to provide counseling in the most appropriate setting to meet the client's needs.
- 3+ years of experience in providing clinical counseling to individuals and/or groups.
- Must be eligible for advanced NYS Licensure and Insurance Paneling.
- New York State licensure as LCSW, LCSW-R LMHC, or LCAT.
- Provisional or interim licensure requirements must be completed in a reasonable time frame as agreed upon with the supervisor.
- Experience or training (or willingness to be trained) in cultural humility, trauma-informed care, and reflective practice.
- NYS Driver's License.
- $26.66/hr. - $28.71/hr.
