Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our dynamic team at Medi-Weightloss in Enfield, CT.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient evaluations, including medical and psychosocial history reviews.
  • Order and review laboratory studies and diagnostic procedures, such as ECGs.
  • Deliver high-quality patient care, including preventive medicine counseling and product education.
  • Collaborate with supervising physicians to ensure accurate prescription guidelines.
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation in the EMR.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as needed.
  • Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities when necessary.
  • Conduct follow-up calls to patients to discuss progress and address concerns.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical oversight and mentorship to clinical staff.
  • Serve as the company liaison for medical and clinical affairs.
  • Participate in ongoing training initiatives and serve as the in-house trainer for medical staff.
  • Identify opportunities to improve franchise clinical operations' efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Develop strategic recommendations to support patient experience improvement initiatives.
