Sales Coordinator Job Description

About the Role:

The Sales Coordinator will assist sales and project management in the sales and processing of equipment. This includes assisting with quotes, warranties, and processing invoices on sales, as well as ensuring accuracy and timely data entry related to used equipment inventory, invoicing, and reporting.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with quotes, warranties, and processing invoices on sales.
  • Purchase items and parts for builds as needed.
  • Ensure all necessary inventory is in stock for the product being built.
  • Communicate with project managers on items to be built and help close out and deliver the built product to customer.
  • Reviews quoting system and updates pricing.
  • Assist with invoicing preparation on sale of new and used equipment.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in an administrative or clerical role.
  • Experience in construction or heavy equipment industry strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience with invoicing and billing preferred.
  • Must be able to read and interpret documents such as blueprints or schematics.
  • Must be highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to multi-task.
  • Must be able to work with people across all levels of the organization, and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

This position will be located in a combination shop and office environment, with considerable exposure to elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. There is frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
