Job Title: Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our team at AssuredPartners. As a key member of our Processing Center Team, you will play a vital role in helping employers confirm health plan eligibility for their dependents.

Job Summary:

This is a part-time onsite position, working approximately 20-29 hours per week. The hourly wage is $16.50, and we offer flexible scheduling. The ideal candidate will have open availability between 8:00am and 8:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with members via various platforms, including telephone calls, emails, faxes, and web portal responses.
  • Provide exceptional customer support by reviewing information, entering data, scanning, and filing documents.
  • Perform research and follow-up to gather necessary information and data.
  • Respond to inquiries from participants and client contacts in a timely and effective manner.
  • Learn and communicate client requirements for customized surveys.
  • Accurately interpret, summarize, and post data received from telephone conversations and messages.
  • Handle confidential data records safely and securely, adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, record-keeping, and data postings.
  • Collaborate with team members to handle tasks such as printing, mailings, scanning, and data entry.
  • Participate in special projects and perform additional duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Desire to learn and grow with our company.
  • High school diploma.
  • Work experience in a call center or document processing center is helpful but not required.
  • Basic clerical skills, including data input and filing, using copiers and scanners.
  • Above-average computer knowledge and technical skills, with the ability to quickly learn software, tools, and features.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, with strong skills in Word and Excel.
  • Outstanding organization skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent written, oral, listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Motivated, focused, detailed, and self-directed individual.
