Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Adhering to departmental procedures and policies, maintaining a working knowledge of regulatory standards, and ensuring compliance in daily operations.
  • Coordinating all aspects of surveillance screenings and immunization programs, including data collection and entry into Lawson and EPIC.
  • Reporting statistics on compliance and providing data to various committees across Cooper University Hospital.
  • Maintaining and calibrating equipment, ordering medical supplies for surveillance/immunization programs, and identifying process improvements for screening programs.
  • Scheduling development in coordination with staffing schedules, creating and updating forms, and serving as a resource for LOA/WC-related questions.

Requirements

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 1 year of acute care experience, with Employee Health experience preferred.
  • A graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program.
  • A current NJ LPN license and BLS (AHA) certification.
