Admissions Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Admissions Coordinator to join our team at Majestic Care Center. The ideal candidate will manage the admissions process and ensure a seamless experience for our residents and their families.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the admissions process for new residents, ensuring all paperwork and documentation are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Coordinate with the billing company for Medicare and Medicaid claims and ensure compliance with regulations
  • Manage FCC and ensure all billing and invoicing are handled promptly and accurately
  • Maintain a presentable and professional appearance at all times
  • Ensure that resident rooms and common areas are well-maintained and aesthetically pleasing
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and compassionate manner
  • Work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare or nursing home setting
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid billing processes
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • High level of professionalism and discretion when dealing with sensitive information
