The Desktop Analyst I is responsible for evaluating system requirements to identify necessary hardware, software, or application modifications stemming from user assistance requests. This role may involve utilizing diagnostic tools and help request tracking systems, and it requires providing both remote and in-person support at the desktop level.
Dane Street, LLC is a prominent player in the insurance sector, emphasizing collaboration and client satisfaction. We are seeking a Desktop Analyst I to enhance our IT department and contribute to our ongoing success.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess and address end-user inquiries, delivering hands-on support for hardware, software, and troubleshooting needs.
- Set up and configure new systems and applications tailored to team member roles.
- Oversee onsite inventory at Dane Street's facilities to maintain security and accessibility.
- Engage with client IT representatives to resolve issues affecting client services.
- Collaborate with the IT team and other departments to fulfill security assessments for clients.
- Educate system end users and revise instructional materials as necessary.
- Execute additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Preferred: Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree.
- Preferred: Familiarity with Apple systems and/or Google Apps.
- Preferred: Experience in a healthcare or insurance environment.
- Required: Strong communication, analytical thinking, and time management abilities.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Physical activities include lifting, bending, and extensive computer use, with prolonged periods of sitting.
