Position Overview:

The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator-RN is a pivotal role that encompasses participant engagement, initiation of research studies, coordination, and management of study-related data. This position may also support project management tasks for the leadership team, such as setting up retrospective studies and developing case report forms. The ability to manage intricate elements of various research protocols, including scheduling and coordinating necessary study procedures, is essential. Close collaboration with the research team is required to ensure adherence to research protocols and compliance with study activities. Critical thinking, self-direction, and autonomy are vital for the daily responsibilities undertaken in partnership with physician investigators and other research team members. This role offers a unique opportunity for continuous learning and contribution to innovative research. A passion for learning and the ability to communicate effectively with participants, physicians, nurses, and other staff regarding the research process is necessary. This position involves direct interaction with research participants across all age groups.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is highly preferred; graduation from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of nursing experience is preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in research and/or child development/assessment is preferred.
  • One or more years of experience working with children in a professional capacity is preferred.

Licensure Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Registered Nurse license in the State of South Dakota or meet the criteria for multi-state licensure.

Work Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday, daytime hours; 80 hours over two weeks.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is competitive, with actual rates determined by experience.
