Position Overview:
The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator-RN is a pivotal role that encompasses participant engagement, initiation of research studies, coordination, and management of research data. This position may also involve providing foundational project management support to the leadership team, including tasks such as retrospective study setup and case report form development. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills to manage the intricate components of various research protocols, including scheduling and coordinating necessary study procedures. Close collaboration with the research team is essential to ensure adherence to research protocols and compliance with ancillary study activities. Critical thinking, self-motivation, and the ability to work autonomously are vital for success in this role, which involves partnering with physician investigators and other research team members. This position offers a unique opportunity for continuous learning and contribution to future research endeavors. A genuine enthusiasm for learning and the ability to communicate effectively with participants, physicians, nurses, and other staff regarding the research process are essential.
Qualifications:
- Graduation from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is strongly preferred; graduation from an approved nursing program is acceptable.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of nursing experience is preferred.
- Five or more years of experience in research and/or child development/assessment is preferred.
- One or more years of experience interacting with children in a professional capacity is preferred.
Licensure:
- Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota or meet the requirements for multi-state licensure.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday, daytime hours; 80 hours per two weeks.
Compensation:
The hourly wage for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience, with a starting rate of $46.50 per hour.
