Position Overview: Registered Nurse (RN) Senior Clinical Research Coordinator

Role Summary

The Senior Clinical Research Coordinator-RN is a pivotal role that encompasses participant engagement, initiation of research studies, coordination, and oversight of study data. This position may also involve providing foundational project management support to the leadership team, including tasks such as retrospective study setup and case report form development. The individual in this role must adeptly manage intricate components of diverse research protocols, which includes scheduling and coordinating necessary study procedures. Close collaboration with the research team is essential to ensure compliance with research protocols and related activities. Critical thinking, self-direction, and autonomy are vital for executing daily responsibilities in partnership with physician investigators and other research team members. This role presents an opportunity for continuous learning and contributing to future research advancements. A passion for learning and engaging with participants, healthcare professionals, and other stakeholders in the research process is essential.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from a CCNE or NLN accredited nursing program is highly preferred; graduates from an approved nursing program are also acceptable.
  • Bachelor's degree in nursing is preferred.
  • A minimum of three years of nursing experience is preferred.
  • Five or more years of experience in research and/or child development/assessment is preferred.
  • One or more years of experience working with children in a professional context is preferred.

Licensure Requirements

  • Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Dakota and/or meet the criteria for multi-state licensure.

Work Schedule

  • Monday to Friday, daytime hours; 80 hours over two weeks.

Compensation

The hourly compensation for this position is as follows. Actual hourly rate will be determined based on experience.
