Job Requirements:

The Marketing Communications Director will lead the strategic direction, management, and operations of ASQ's marketing and communications team. This team is responsible for campaign strategy, owned & paid channel strategy, marketing automation strategy & execution, marketing and communications operations, analytics, ASQ's digital video content platform, and external Society public relations and communications.

The ideal candidate will have strong strategic leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects & campaigns simultaneously while adapting to change. They will have a demonstrated history of successfully working with cross-functional teams to build effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and previous strategic leadership experience.

This role is responsible for 2-3 direct reports and 7-9 indirect reports. The Marketing Communications Director will oversee the daily operations of the Marketing Communications team and lead the execution of initiatives. They will develop and manage the association's vision and marketing strategy, supporting ASQ brand positioning, membership retention & acquisition, corporate training lead generation, learning product sales, publication sales, conference registration, and new product launches.

The Marketing Communications Director will strategically leverage optimal media mix, audience segmentation, personalized creative, and promotions to deliver measurable impact. They will be responsible for developing, managing, and driving compliance to the annual marketing business plan and budget. The role will focus on driving business objectives, enhancing results, and maximizing ROI to support the achievement of ASQ's strategic goals. They will lead and manage brand maintenance, evolution, and reputation, directing the Society's brand identity by overseeing brand consistency, continuity, and reputation across all channels, including all design, digital, and print materials.
