Director of Brand Marketing

The Director – Brand Marketing position is a key leadership role that oversees the development and execution of brand marketing strategies to drive business growth and market share in North America. This role will lead the brand marketing team and collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing planning and execution with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute brand marketing strategies to position the brand as a leader in the industry with key audiences, including B2B and B2C in priority markets globally.
- Design and execute North America product marketing offers and campaigns within the global brand framework.
- Be a domain expert in the industry, monitoring key trends to anticipate and propose new growth ideas, product offerings, and thought leadership.
- Coordinate market research priorities to drive strategic insights and identify new opportunities in partnership with the North America Marketing Intelligence and Global Insights teams.
- Coordinate with North America Marketing Intelligence to monitor actions of direct and indirect competitors and tailor brand messaging and marketing strategies to drive unique differentiation in the US and Canada.
- Partner with the Global Insights team to develop and execute Thought Leadership research and associated publications to support the brand positioning both internally and externally.
- Lead the marketing strategy and campaign plans for priority services, managing all branding, positioning, and messaging to attract and engage clients and talent.
- Work in partnership with Marketing Leadership, Brand Leadership, Global Marketing, Integrated Marketing, Digital Marketing, Events, Market Intelligence, and Sales Enablement teams to develop marketing programs to drive new client opportunities and achieve brand growth objectives.
People Leadership
The Director – Brand Marketing will manage, inspire, and lead a team committed to providing exceptional brand direction and guidance for the global brand marketing strategy. The role will have an average span of control of 3-5 direct reports and indirectly manage all brand marketing resources.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of progressive marketing experience driving marketing planning and execution in the technology or human capital industry.
- Proven ability to work through client, pricing, and operational data to find opportunities and actionable insights that are not readily apparent and clearly communicate to a diverse set of business stakeholders.
- Digital awareness of digital marketing inbound and outbound strategies and demand gen (SEO, web, social media, etc).
- MarTech technology, marketing, and data analytics platform literacy and social media awareness (e.g., CRM, marketing automation, analytics).
Preferred Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, IT, or related field.
- Collaboration: Experience working for a mid-large-sized global matrixed organization.
