We are currently seeking a dedicated Patient Access Representative for our Rehabilitation Services.

New hires are eligible for a $1,500 sign-on bonus for this role.

Work Schedule: 40 hours per week

Shift Details: Day shift; Monday 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Tuesday 7:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Wednesday and Thursday 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM, Friday 7:30 AM - 12:00 PM

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital, Fall River, MA

Key Responsibilities:

Under the general supervision of the Team Leader, Rehab Operations, you will perform a variety of administrative support tasks, coordinate various patient care processes, and undertake other related duties in accordance with established policies and procedures of the Rehabilitation Services department.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Associate's Degree preferred or equivalent demonstrated work experience.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is essential.
  • Proficient keyboarding skills are required.
  • Computer proficiency is necessary.
  • Strong reasoning and critical thinking skills are essential, along with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Exceptional customer service skills are mandatory.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant medical office experience is required.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or qualify for an exemption for medical or personal reasons.

Compensation:

Pay Rate: USD $27.50 per hour.
