Job Summary

The Office of National Drug Control Policy is seeking highly motivated interns to contribute to its critical mission. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including media relations, intergovernmental affairs, and legislative affairs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with researching, reviewing, and writing communications, as well as helping to draft social media posts and press releases.
  • Track and summarize State, local, and Tribal drug policies, and assist with virtual and in-person events.
  • Research congressional members, track legislation, compile research, and review hearings.
Requirements
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Must be registered with the Selective Service.
  • Must be able to commit to at least 15 hours per week.
  • Must be currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate college, community college, or university at least half-time.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
Internship Details
  • Internship duration: Part-time or full-time.
  • Internship stipend: $375/week for part-time interns and $750/week for full-time interns.
