Job Description

Responsibilities

As a Nursing Assistant in Wound Care, you will work under direct supervision to facilitate a safe and secure environment for patients, families, and providers. Your primary focus will be on maintaining a safe, hazard-free, clean environment that facilitates patient-focused care.

You will work closely with the bedside RN and charge nurse to maintain clear communication between the needs of the patient and the healthcare team. This includes completing duties delegated by the RN and charge nurse, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.

This role requires strong organizational and time management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  • A Medical Terminology course or successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
  • 6 months of health care experience.

Estimated Salary: $42,000 - $52,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Part-time (36 hours weekly) day shift positions available.
