Job Summary:

DispatchHealth Imaging is seeking a skilled Cardiac Sonographer/Echocardiographer to join our team. As a Mobile Echocardiographer, you will travel to patients' homes or facilities to perform echocardiography studies using portable equipment. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality care in a fast-paced environment while working with a dynamic team.

Responsibilities:

Perform echocardiography studies on patients in various settings, including homes, facilities, and clinics.
Operate portable echocardiography equipment and maintain it according to company protocols.
Collect and verify patient information and order documentation prior to procedures.
Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
Transmit images and associated documentation to cardiologists in a timely manner.
Complete all forms and maintain records, logs, and reports according to standard protocols.
Upload required documents into company systems according to company protocols.
Maintain equipment, including cleaning and disinfecting, according to company procedures.
Take good care of company vehicles and ensure they are well-stocked with necessary supplies prior to each shift.
Operate and behave in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations.
Orient new staff and train students, if requested.
Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading cardiologists, customer call-backs, and other administrative and customer support functions as directed.

Requirements:

To qualify as a Mobile Echo technologist, you must meet all state-specific and federal requirements for training, education, competency, certification, and state license to perform, including one or more of the following:
Adult Cardiac Sonographer with a satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program, with a focus in adult echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound studies
ARDMS registered in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation OR CCI registered with Cardiac Sonographer designation required.
Two (2) years' experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular tech preferred.
Additional Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) desired.
