Position Summary

The Echocardiographer role presents an exceptional opportunity within the MultiCare Pulse Heart Institute team. This technical position allows you to apply your specialized knowledge and clinical expertise. You will collaborate with your colleagues to ensure the highest quality imaging care for our patients.


Key Responsibilities
  • Capture high-quality ultrasound images of the heart and associated structures.
  • Conduct diagnostic radiology to meet departmental objectives.
  • Utilize your expertise in various ultrasound procedures.
  • Employ your clinical interpretive skills, independent judgment, initiative, and creativity in executing procedures.
Qualifications
  • Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) in adult, pediatric, or fetal echocardiography (RDCS, Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer), or by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) for cardiac sonography (RCS, Registered Cardiac Sonographer).
  • Separate credentialing requirements apply for adult and pediatric applications of cardiac ultrasound; Tier 2 requires pediatric certification along with one year of experience in Pediatric Echocardiology.
  • A minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience.
  • Previous experience as an Echocardiographer is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

MultiCare offers a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, as well as paid time off. The starting pay for this position is $43.36, with a pay scale reaching up to $69.70 USD. Compensation is influenced by various factors, including skill set, experience level, and certifications.
