Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver on-site technical assistance and repairs for client equipment, including training clients on proper operational procedures.
  • Coordinate with Dispatch to optimize productivity, ensuring thorough documentation of troubleshooting efforts, repairs conducted, parts utilized, and the current status of equipment. Maintain records of service requests and customer feedback.
  • Utilize a company vehicle to travel to various client locations as directed by Dispatch, being readily available to respond to repair, installation, and preventative maintenance requests.
  • Report any defective materials or discrepancies encountered.
  • Organize and manage documentation, tools, and inventory of parts.
  • Initiate orders for replacement parts and address order inaccuracies (such as shortages or incorrect items shipped).
  • Fulfill necessary administrative tasks, including meetings, parts returns, timesheets, expense reports, and detailed ticket analysis.
  • Conduct weekly maintenance on the company vehicle.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Proficient with smartphones and technologically adept.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel).
  • Experience with mapping and routing software such as MapPoint or Google Maps.
  • Strong mechanical, technological, and electrical skills.
  • Ability to work meticulously with small, moving components.
  • Excellent organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to interpret written instructions and documents effectively.
  • Willingness to learn through remote training.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Capability to maintain a reliable vehicle and appropriate liability insurance as per company policy.
  • Compliance with pre-employment drug and alcohol testing, as well as random and post-accident testing as required.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience with low voltage electronics, mechanical systems, and computer technology.
  • Experience with alarm/CCTV systems, as well as ATM technical knowledge, is advantageous.
  • Preferred 3+ years of field service experience.
  • Military background is a plus.
Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move over 50 pounds.
  • Capability to work both indoors and outdoors, including during adverse weather conditions.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capacity to sit and drive a vehicle with extensive travel.
  • Ability to climb, bend, stoop, and reach freely.
  • Good hand-eye coordination is essential.
  • Vision must be correctable to 20/20.
